Papal Knight honour for Executive Officer, Mr Patrick Bugden

On 7 February 2013 Mr Patrick Bugden joined with General Peter Cosgrove and Mr Charles Curran AC in the honour of receiving a Papal Award in appreciation and recognition for their contributions to the Church and Catholic life.

Mr Patrick Bugden was invested as a Knight Commander of the Order of St Gregory the Great in a ceremony held at Cathedral House. The award was presented by Cardinal George Pell.

Joining with Pat to witness this special occasion were members of his family including, his wife, Margaret, and his daughters Angela, Elizabeth and Alison, along with Mr Bill d’ Apice, Chair – Calvary Ministries, Sr Bernadette Fitzgerald LCM, Province Leader, Sr Jennifer Barrow LCM, former Province Leader, and Mr Joe Shannon, Partner of Moore Stephens Sydney
