LCM Health Care
Background
Little Company of Mary Health Care, a national Catholic health care organisation, are stewards of the heritage of compassion begun by the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary who came to Australia in 1885. This is the heart of “being for others” and is the basis for the service Little Company of Mary Health Care gives.
Little Company of Mary Health Care generally conducts its services under the name ‘Calvary’, as the foundress of the Little Company of Mary found that it was important that every person, particular those who are sick, dying or in need had a right to special care.
In the Gospel, the Calvary image captures the encounter between a woman, a mother, Mary and her Son, Jesus who is dying. When others abandon him, she remains with him. She is a sign of hope and compassion when he is afraid and alone.
Little Company of Mary Health Care conducts health (public and private), aged, and community care services in most states and territories of Australia (except WA and Qld). They are committed to excellence.
