On 22 March 2017 two events were held at Calvary Canberra. The first being a Missioning Ceremony for the Calvary Canberra Executive staff, this was followed by the blessing of the Hyson Green Mental Health Unit redevelopment site.
Hyson Green (located next to Calvary Bruce Private Hospital) is the only dedicated private mental health facility in Canberra, servicing Canberra and surrounding districts.
The site blessing was conducted by retired Bishop of Canberra Goulburn, Fr Pat Power. The event was hosted by The Hon. John Watkins, Chair – LCMHC Board, and Calvary Ministries was represented by Michael Lee, Director.
