Calvary Ministries meeting with the Holy See (CICL-SAL)
Representatives of Calvary Ministries travelled to Rome for a meeting with the Holy See on 17 March 2014 to present our 2012/2013 Annual Report and to discuss the ongoing works of our ministry.
The representatives included: Sr Bernadette Fitzgerald LCM – Chair – Members’ Council, Mr Bill d’Apice – Chair, Fr Ian Waters – Director, and Mr Pat Bugden – Executive Officer.
The meeting took place in the offices of The Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (CICL-SAL) with Fr Elias Ayuban Jr CMF. At this time we also met informally with the Archbishop Secretary José Rodríguez Carballo and Cardinal Joao Braz de Aviz, Prefect of the Congregation.
While in Rome the group took the opportunity to host a dinner with the Australian Ambassador for the Holy See, Hon. John McCarthy QC.
